You’ve got a bike. You and your friends crash from time to time. Somebody has a camera…. By themselves, these facts are relatively unrewarding—put them together, however, and you could wind up with a new Mavic Deetraks wheelset and an MP3 wheelset warranty: a prize worth $377!

Here’s how it works. You send in your best photo of a horrendous mountain biking crash—and if we pick your photo as the best crash photo, we’ll award you with a shiny new set of Mavic Deetrak wheels and Mavic’s outstanding MP3 wheelset warranty.

HOW TO ENTER Go to the Vids/Pics button at the top of the BIKEMAG.com homepage and click it. See the link that says “Your Photos”? Just click that link, register to post photos and you’re good to go. Thousands of riders are doing it—it’s pretty simple.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The winning photo should be a nice crash. That’s pretty straight forward. No science there. You’ve got till March 8th to post your best crash photos. No limits. Post as many different photos as you like. JPEGs are the name of the game as far as format goes and we’re going to give priority to horizontal shots because they fit way better on our website. But that’s about all the rules you need to know. So get posting. You could walk away with a new set of wheels.

WHUZZA MP3? MP3 stands for “Mavic Product Protection Policy”. It’s a two-year, no-questions-asked wheelset warranty that gives you the peace of mind to go out there and ride like the flaming idiot we all aspire to be. You can, by the way, purchase an MP3 warranty anytime you buy a new wheelset from an authorized Mavic dealer. Just sign up with your dealer, (the MP3 warranties costs you eight percent of the wheelset price), register with Mavic on-line, and your good to go.

If you do damage one of your wheels, you can take it to any Mavic dealer, they’lll return it to Mavic (you have to pay the shipping), and Mavic will repair it and send it back at no charge to you.

In the case of this contest, Mavic is giving the MP3 warranty away with the new wheelset. Bonus!
