Sam Hill Defends World Title
On a very serious note, Iron Horse Hero Sam Hill successfully defended his World Downhill Title in Scotland on Sunday. A pretty amazing feet when you consider he was the 24th seed coming in:
"Everyone has their cameras out there and they're filming each other's lines, so I take different lines (in qualifying) and they're a lot sneakier."
This proved to be a successful strategy as Hill trumped Frances Fabien Barel by a narrow margin.
Hill and Iron Horse continue their dominance of Downhill racing, and at a mere 22 years old, the people in the rearview seem be getting smaller and smaller.
In other news, Randall Scott’s Duncan Riffle Fan Club congratulates him on the second best showing of any American.
And, in his debut Randy Moss torched the Jets secondary for 9 catches, 183 yards, and one TD. When the Patriots had the ball it looked like the Jets had agreed to count to
5 m-i-s-s-i-s-s-i-p-p-i before rushing, and when Brady threw a fifty-one yard cross-field rainbow (a no-no in high school football), Moss simply shifted into 5th gear and left his triple coverage at the 10 yard line before meeting the ball at the goal line.
As sure as the leaves will turn in New England, the Pats will win the AFC East.
