Sortie 2 Makes Friends and Foes alike Eat Dirt

The 2008 Diamondback Sortie 2 is a whopping 50% off at our website right now. The Sortie 2 is an all mountain beast ready to help you conquer any part of the peak you decide to go "Napoleon" on. The Sortie 2 is a 4-inch travel bike that specializes in dominating trails. The frame features Rapid Response geometry and the coveted Knuckle Box suspension design so you can feel confident taking the ups, downs, and banks of any terrain.

Tubing on the Sortie was just as carefully selected as the components with the ultra light (yet surprisingly strong) tubes nicely complementing the Shimano Deore components. The front fork is a Rock Shox Recon XC (w/ Rebound Dampening Adjustment) and the rear is the Fox Float R (w/ Rebound Dampening Adjustment and Propedal Platform).

Technical specs aside this bike is made to be light, nimble, and durable. If you're looking for a bike to make your friends eat dirt then definitely give this Sortie 2 your attention.

PS - Check out the frame on this guy, color doesn't usually matter to much to me but that blue is a thing of beauty.

Finally! A Tri Bike You Can Afford

Tommaso recently sent us a few new bikes they are producing. We got a cyclocross bike that was tested by the VeloNews cyclocross team member and Tommaso Product Manager T.R. We also got a new tri(athlon) bike that was tested by Iron Man and stellar triathlete T.R. Yeah, same dude.

Needless to say Tommaso walks the walk, or in this case rides the rides.

Tommaso is also reaching out to their community to sponsor local athletes with bikes for testing, training, and competing. They recently announced their signing on triathelete James Hadley, and had some nice raw photos posted to their Facebook Fan Page.

James will be riding the Tommaso Sixth Sense, a full carbon tri bike that was tested in the Iron Man and is the big brother to our recent arrival the Tommaso Coltello Tri Bike. The Coltello is the aluminum version and was created to be an affordable bike to get people into triathlons. All too often people can't afford a road bike to train and another bike specifically for the race, if that is the case with you then the Coltello is the solution. The Coltello is also great for those doing triathlons without vision of the podium, the Sixth Sense is a bike for those looking to medal.

Tommaso Aggraziato Road Bike is gonna knock you out!

The Tommaso Aggraziato Road Bike is a 3 punch knockout of a deal.

The first hit is the Tommaso Carbon frame. This frame is the same frame that is used on the Tommaso Superleggera which VeloNews and numerous customers have raved about. Tommaso uses a compact geometry and detailed tubing lengths per frame size. This ensures that the rider gets the lightest, strongest and best performing and fitting frame for the dollar. The compact design and geometry place the rider in the optimum position for steady handling and comfort. The Aggraziato has a carbon fork to absorb he high-frequency buzz from the road. This means more miles of comfort and better handling.

The second hit is the Shimano Ultegra component build on the Aggraziato. Shimano Ultegra components are the perfect combination of weight and price. To complement the Ultegra derailleurs, shifters, and brake levers is the FSA Gossamer Compact Crankset and Tommaso TRS saddle, seatpost, handlebar, and stem. Throw in the Hutchison tires and FSA headset to complete the build of a bike that is supreme.

The third and final hit to make this bike a knockout is the price. We know you won't find a better deal on a similar bike. Compare this bike to the Trek Madone 5.1 or Specialized Tarmac Expert SL and you will see that you are getting the same bike for less than half the price. Tommaso stands behind their work and offers a lifetime warranty on the frame. We also will ship this bike directly to your door for FREE.

We have limited quantities left so grab this deal before your luck runs out.

Tommaso Uses Knowledge To Enter New Territory

Tommaso Bicycles has been making premium road bikes for longer than many people riding them. With years of experience comes a wealth of knowledge. Tommaso also listens to it's customers via it's Facebook Fan Page and Twitter among other mediums. When people started asking for more than road bikes Tommaso knew they had to do something.

We have up for pre-order the fruits of Tommaso's love child between their knowledge and the customer input. Four new bikes in total are ready to be pre-ordered and will ship by March 26th if not earlier. The four bikes consist of 2 new road bikes, a triathlon bike, and a cyclocross bike.

The Tommaso Bestia is a aluminum framed cyclocross bike. Cross bikes are ideal for riding both on-road and odd-road although the off-road side of it tends to be trails and cyclocross tracks rather than serious mountain biking trails. The Bestia, which means beast, comes with Shimano Tiagra/105 components. It is just as suited for hard packed trails as it is morning commutes (especially on the not-so-fairweather days).

The Tommaso Coltello is a triathlon specific bike perfectly suited for training and race day. Taking the knowledge from competing in an Iron Man Tommaso used that first hand knowledge to make a tri bike that can get results. The Coltello gives the bird to those expensive tri bikes that don't prove themselves. Spec'd with Shimano and FSA components and Hutchinson tires this bike is ready to help you through 1/3 of your way to the finish line.

Tommaso heard it's customers loud and clear, they wanted bikes with SRAM components. Shimano is popular too but not many bike companies offer a range of SRAM bikes. Tommaso jumped on the opportunity and has released the much-loved Velocta with a SRAM Force component group. The slight paint difference between this Velocita and the other models makes this bike unique just as much as the Force components do.

Carbon bikes are all the rage, and rightfully so. They are lightweight and dampen road vibrations among other benefits. Tommaso already has a trio of carbon bikes with Shimano components and based on the customers input for SRAM bikes they have opted to make a SRAM Force Carbon Road Bike. While using the proven frame that is on the Superleggera (loved by VeloNews), the Tommaso Volo has components that compare favorably to the Dura-Ace components at a cheaper price.

There you have the new Tommaso Bikes. Go Pre-Order them and be the first on the block with the newest goodies.
